Course Description

Join Lindsay Nova & Yaron Cohen in paradise island, Koh Phangan, for this intensive course for any yoga teacher starting off or wanting to deepen their knowledge and practice of yoga. You will learn how to become confident yoga teacher.

This course is a comprehensive presentation of yoga as a vehicle to maintain and promote health, and a discipline which leads to genuine peace of mind. After a deep immersion into asanas, pranayama, bandhas, meditation, mantras, mudras, chakras, and the teaching of the ancient yoga scriptures like Hatha yoga Pradipkia, you will leave the course feeling confident and ready to teach.

Course Instructor

Lindsay Nova  

Lindsay is a traveling yogini, healer and performance artist.  She is a firm believer in the wisdom of the body, the strength of the heart, and the power of the breath. A lifelong dancer and performance artist, yoga has been a great tool of transformation in her own life that she loves sharing with her students. She approaches her classes and life

 with an artful sensibility, so that others can learn to appreciate and love their bodies, minds, and spirits with more connection.

She has been teaching yoga since 2008 and holds additional certifications in Pilates and is a Reiki Level 2 practitioner. Lindsay has taught yoga and movement arts across the United States and currently travels the globe teaching and writing, with her most recent residencies in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Sri Lanka. She has taught on teacher trainings in India and Thailand, and most recently developed her own aerial yoga program in Costa Rica, which she is now offering worldwide in her spare time.

She is known to always have a hula hoop and a yoga mat with her wherever she travels and loves adding a little circus flair to anything she does. Life is too short to take seriously all the time!

Outside of yoga, Lindsay is an aerialist, fire dancer, and writer who enjoys hiking, surfing, and of course, traveling!

 

Yaron Cohen

Yaron is practicing yoga for 28 years, and teaching it for 15 years. He is Yoga alliance certified yoga teacher RYT 200. He did 18 month meditation retreat in Zen & Forest Buddhist monasteries in Japan & Thailand.  He was healed from “incurable disease” (Colitis) by the practice of meditation and scriptures based yoga (for example Hatha Yoga Pradipika). Therefore it’s his mission to teach and share his experience so those in need can heal their life. Yaron is a musician and practitioner of Bhakti yoga, the yoga of the love and devotion; he leads Kirtans and Bhajans regularly.

Food

All meals are made healthy organic vegan* foods.

*Some vegetarian options such as dairy and eggs will be offered.

We may be able to meet any specific dietary requirements but please contact us first to be sure.

For every student, breakfast will include:

Policies

For this retreat we require a 30% deposit to secure the booking. Payments can be made by PayPal or bank transfer.

For remaining balance (due at check in) please have this ready in Thai Baht. If you are unable to pay in Thai Baht you may pay by PayPal or bank transfer, but please note you are responsible for all charges.
