Course Description

This is an INTENSIVE teacher training course that meets all Yoga Alliance requirements with only 16 days of classes. We will cover:

  • Practicum: 10 hours
  • Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teachers: 20 hours
  • Teaching Methodology: 15 hours
  • Techniques, Training and Practice: 75 hours
  • Anatomy and Physiology: 10 hours

This training has small class sizes of 15 people maximum to ensure a deeply personal experience. It will be a great mix of yoga styles with a focus on Hatha and Vinyasa to teach unification, strong foundations, good alignment as well as moving through posture and breathing. Upon completion of this program, you will be a certified yoga instructor. La Casa Shambala’s methods of teaching are interactive, focusing on a fully immersive yoga experience, teaching, and group dynamics. This course includes methods of reflective self-analysis as well as a proper diet, all in a lovely, private Thai-style home. This will allow you to enjoy and evolve in the perfect environment for your study.

Mica Albacete

Mica has been traveling over 5 years studying mainly in Asia and South America and with the wish to learn through Asian and Amazonian culture alternative ways of healing.

He fell in love with Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra while being in India. After spending over 2 years in India learning Hatha yoga through intense practice, he has been lucky to meet some loving masters through different places around India like Himalaya and Ganga river. One of his masters has a PhD in pranayama Yoga, an Ayurvedic Doctor who has spend 10 years in one of the oldest yoga universities in the world, based in Haridwar, India. One of this others masters is a Tai Chi and Tantra master who spends 25 years with Osho in Osho ashram, Pune, India.
Mica spent years studying with them in an immersive intensive way, practicing 30 hours weekly including living a restricted Ayurvedic diet.
He became a certified 200 RYE UK, USA and Australia international yoga alliance and went to spread Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Restorative and Kundalini practices in India, Thailand, Bali, France and United Arabs Emirates. He also became a certified Thai Yoga Massage practitioner and a kids yoga teacher.
Mica has been teaching over thousands drop-in classes and hours by teaching hundreds classes monthly in India, Thailand, France and United Arabs Emirates. He has been assisting and teaching teacher training in India and Thailand since 2015.

All meals are made with healthy organic vegan foods. La Casa Shambala may be able to meet any specific dietary requirements (including vegetarian meals) but please send them an inquiry first to be sure.

For this retreat we require a 30% deposit to secure the booking. Payments can be made by PayPal or bank transfer.
